I purchased a phone from mobileshop on cashback contract. the phone arrived and everything was going fine until it was cashback time. each time a claim was made and i did everything by the book when i claimed. after numerous emails to them when cashback was due i eventually got some cashback. but then the 18 month contract finished and i was still waiting for the rest of my cashback which i never got and now 12 months later and several e mails to them which they simply ignore. I realised ive got no chance of getting any more cashback from them. I certainly shall never have another phone from Mobile Shop and have warned all my family and friends about them also.

I agree that Mobile Shop takes AGES to pay cash for their cashback offer but why not try receiving a cash back voucher instead? It comes in the form of a gift card and since I have had my gift card I have received credit onto it within 30 days of every claim I have made. I chose Argos/Homebase as I have just moved into my first house but there are options for all sorts of high street stores and you would only be spending your cash there anyway? Definitely worth a try.
